3900    DRIVERS OF COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES

3900.1    Pursuant to D.C. Code §1-621.51 (1999 Repl.), the federal regulations issued pursuant to 49 U.S.C. § 31306 (currently, 49 C.F.R., Parts 382-385), as these regulations may from time to time be amended, shall apply to individuals who are employed as or who are candidates for employment as drivers of commercial motor vehicles.

3900.2    The provisions of this chapter, and the regulations incorporated by reference herein, shall apply to agencies under the personnel authority of the Mayor and to individuals who are employed in or who are candidates for employment in those agencies as drivers of commercial motor vehicles.
