All 2002 receipts for Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts are due by March 31, 2003. If you participated in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) during 2002, your money has been deducted pre-tax from each paycheck and set aside in a special account. These accounts are administered by Flex America.

If you have not used all of the money that you deposited into your FSA(s) by December 31, 2002, it must be forfeited, according to IRS rules. There is a 90-day grace period for submitting all your receipts, therefore all receipts for 2002 expenses must be submitted to Flex America by March 31, 2003.
