CPM Applications Due March 7

Applications for Cohort 16 of the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program are due by March 7, 2003.

The CPM Program is designed to develop a highly skilled, well-trained managerial and executive corps. Each cohort completes a week-long Basic Leadership Course that develops core public management competencies, a year-long course of professional instruction in advanced leadership and leadership skills, and a major individual or team-based Management Reform Project.

The CPM Program is administered by the DC Office of Personnel's Center for Workforce Development in partnership with The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Municipal Management and is accredited by the National Consortium of Certified Public Managers.

For information about course descriptions, course calendars and eligibility for the CPM program, please see your agency HR Advisor for a copy of the FY 2003 Center for Workforce Development catalog. The catalog is also available on the DCOP intranet (this area is only accessible to DC government employees on the DC wide area network).
