1 - Does Not Meet Expectations
- Unable to provide the coaching necessary to guide and empower others.
- Does not provide challenging and stretching tasks and assignments.
- Does not take the time to work with those who need improvement.
- Does not acknowledge employee contributions and accomplishments.
- Does not implement performance management systems or processes.
- Does not take corrective disciplinary actions when appropriate.
- Inept at managing a diverse workforce.
3 - Meets Expectations
- Provides ongoing guidance and positive reinforcement to improve performance.
- Provides challenging tasks and assignments.
- Will work with people who need improvement.
- Consistently evaluates, provides feedback and develops employees to their next level of performance.
- Shares and/or delegates power and authority with staff.
- Shares rewards with staff.
- Provides corrective and/or progressive disciplinary actions to modify/improve inappropriate behavior or performance.
